As we slowly but surely get closer to warmer weather, I thought I'd share my favorite denim shorts for spring/summer that don't break the bank! When I look for shorts, I personally want a high rise with a 3" or longer inseam. I always seem to really like a boyfriend/tomgirl fit. My favorite and best fitting pair of denim shorts I've ever had came from American Eagle last year and are the tomgirl fit. They haven't brought back the same exact pair, but they do have tomgirl shorts again! I personally like the midi fit, I'm not into bermuda or booty shorts.
1. topshop - reviews say that these run a size big. I love the length and that they look like mom jean shorts! $55
2. blank NYC - my other fav pair of shorts came from this brand. A little more expensive, usually tts! $78
3. express - these are definitely in my cart! They look very stretchy, long enough to cover my butt, and I love the distressed edge that can be rolled up for a different look. They're on a great sale right now, $38!
4. AND 5. ae light color midi shorts / ae dark midi shorts - these styles are most similar to the pair that I love. They're also BOGO 50% right now! $49
6. sts blue - this brand is great and doesn't break the bank. $49
7. one teaspoon - okay, these are my dream shorts so I had to include them. So expensive though! But, every time I see them on someone, they always look so cute and flattering due to the way the sides are shortened, giving some elongation to your legs! $109
