A little background on Miranda's shop:
"The name Lavender & Linen comes from Proverbs 31:22, "She is clothed in fine linen and purple".
Did you know that the color purple was used 48 times in the King James Bible? Purple symbolically stood for royalty, wealth, & prosperity. In Acts 16, the Apostle Paul was guided to preach the gospel in Europe. There he came across Lydia who was known for being "a seller of purple" which made her very prosperous. After listening to Paul, Lydia and her household became Christians. She was Paul's FIRST European convert and later in Acts 16 verse 40, we learn that Lydia's Philippian home quickly became a gathering place for believers and a focal point for spreading the gospel in the city.
My goal is to always always ALWAYS give God the glory in everything that I do. In saying that, I want to be like the Proverbs 31 woman, Lydia, and so many other strong powerful women in the Bible that use their words, talents, and even hobbies (in my case shopping 
) to continue to spread the gospel and bless others!

I'm in love with both pieces! I've been wanting a ruffle sleeved top, and I love that this green one has sparkles stitched in! Also, this velvet top is a comfort lovers dream! Did you notice the adorable detail on the hem and the back?! So stinking cute. She even included the dainty, go-with-everything earrings that I'm wearing with the ruffle top, which I didn't expect!
